Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb (450g) ground beef
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
3 cups beef broth
2 cups milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
2. Add ground beef and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it up until browned.
3. Stir in garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in beef broth and milk, stirring well to combine.
5. Add pasta and Italian seasoning, ensuring pasta is mostly submerged.
6. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.
7. Reduce heat to low and stir in parmesan cheese and butter until melted and creamy.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
9. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth to loosen.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan cheese for the best creamy texture.
Heavy cream will make the dish richer, while milk keeps it lighter.
You can add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or broccoli for extra nutrition.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat with a splash of milk.
