Tender honey mustard baked chicken breasts coated in a sweet and tangy glaze with simple pantry ingredients for a quick, healthy dinner.
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup honey
3 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
2 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Whisk honey, Dijon, whole-grain mustard, lemon juice, paprika, and garlic.
4. Place chicken in a baking dish and coat with half the glaze.
5. Bake 20–25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
6. Brush remaining glaze during final 5 minutes.
7. Broil 1–2 minutes for caramelization.
8. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Add vegetables to the pan for a one-pan meal.
Marinate chicken up to 12 hours for deeper flavor.
