This one-pan dinner combines protein-rich shrimp with fiber-packed broccoli in a simple sauce that requires minimal cleanup. The result is a perfectly balanced, professional-quality dish that brings sophisticated flavors into your home kitchen in under thirty minutes. It is a wholesome, quick-to-prepare meal perfect for busy schedules without sacrificing on taste.

Ingredients

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cups broccoli florets
1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

Whisk honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, red pepper, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
Place shrimp in a bowl and toss with one-third of the sauce mixture.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
Sauté broccoli florets for five to six minutes until crisp-tender, then remove from pan.
Add butter to the same pan and add shrimp in a single layer.
Cook shrimp for two minutes per side until opaque.
Return broccoli to the pan and pour in the remaining sauce.
Toss everything together for one minute until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.

Notes

Use raw honey for a deeper flavor profile. Ensure the soy sauce is low-sodium to keep the dish heart-healthy. If using ground ginger, substitute with 1/4 teaspoon. Adjust red pepper flakes based on your preference for heat.
