Description
Tender, flaky salmon bites coated in a rich honey butter garlic glaze. This quick stovetop salmon recipe is sweet, savory, and perfect for busy weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Chopped fresh parsley, optional garnish
Sesame seeds, optional garnish
Instructions
1. Pat salmon dry with paper towels and cut into evenly sized bite-sized pieces. Season all sides lightly with salt and black pepper.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
3. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant but not browned.
4. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring continuously, until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
5. Arrange the salmon pieces in a single layer in the skillet. Avoid overcrowding so the salmon sears properly.
6. Cook salmon for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side without moving, until lightly golden.
7. Flip the salmon pieces and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
8. Spoon the honey butter garlic glaze over the salmon bites, gently tossing to coat evenly.
9. Remove from heat and transfer salmon bites to a serving plate.
10. Garnish with chopped parsley and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh salmon for best texture.
Do not overcook salmon to keep it tender.
Adjust honey or soy sauce to taste for sweetness or saltiness.
Serve with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
