Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
0.7 oz packet Italian dressing mix
2 tsp minced garlic
10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
4 oz cream cheese, softened
16 oz angel hair pasta
4 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
Place the four boneless skinless chicken breasts into the bottom of your slow cooker.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Stir the Italian dressing mix, cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth into the melted butter until the mixture is uniform.
Pour the creamy sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on Low for 4-6 hours or High for 2-3 hours until the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Just before serving, boil a large pot of water and cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions.
Serve the creamy chicken and sauce over the cooked pasta.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for a higher fat content and more succulent texture. Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing to prevent lumps in the sauce. For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free cream of chicken soup substitute.
