Description

A hearty one-pan meal combining ground beef, al dente ziti pasta, and melted mozzarella cheese. Savory aromatics like garlic and onion enhance the beef, while reserved pasta water creates a rich, cheese-laced emulsion.

Ingredients

2 Cups Ziti Pasta, cooked al dente
1 tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 lb Ground Beef (85/15 lean-to-fat ratio)
1/2 tsp Black Pepper (freshly cracked)
3 Cloves Garlic (finely minced)
1 tsp Crushed Red Chili Flakes (adjust for mildness)
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (halal-certified if required)
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 Small Onion (chopped)
1/2 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

Bring pasta to al dente in salted water; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water
Heat oil in a skillet; sear ground beef with pepper until browned
Add garlic, onion, chili flakes, and Worcestershire; cook 3 minutes
Stir in tomato paste; deglaze with reserved pasta water
Add cooked pasta to the skillet; toss to coat
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving

Notes

Use halal-certified Worcestershire if required
Avocado oil is a high-heat substitute
Penne or Rigatoni can replace ziti
Reserve pasta water for emulsification
Top with vegan mozzarella for dairy-free option
