Description
Bold avocado toast topped with cheesy eggs and drizzled with spicy chili butter, perfect for brunch or breakfast.
Ingredients
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp salted butter
1 clove garlic, chopped
1–2 tsp chili flakes
½ tsp paprika
4 large eggs
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
2 slices sourdough or whole grain bread
1 small avocado, mashed
Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil and butter in a saucepan. Add garlic, chili flakes, and paprika. Cook until lightly browned.
2. Boil eggs, rest 5–10 minutes depending on yolk preference, then peel and quarter.
3. Mix eggs with cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
4. Toast bread until golden.
5. Spread avocado on toast, top with egg mixture, and drizzle with chili butter.
6. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
Use poached eggs if preferred.
Adjust chili flakes to taste.
Serve immediately for best texture.
