Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (5-8 oz each)
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Whisk the honey, whole grain Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag.
Coat the salmon fillets thoroughly with two-thirds of the honey mustard sauce.
Refrigerate the salmon for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the fish.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F if required by your model.
Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down.
Air fry for 8 minutes or until the salmon reaches desired flakiness.
Brush with the remaining sauce during the last minute of cooking.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Ensure fillets are of equal thickness for even cooking. You can substitute yellow mustard for Dijon for a milder flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
