Ingredients
Butter (Unsalted), ¾ cup
Mini Marshmallows, 15 cups
Crispy Rice Cereal, 12 cups
Clear Vanilla Extract, 1½ teaspoons
Red Food Coloring (Gel), 8-9 drops
Blue Food Coloring (Gel), 6 drops
Instructions
Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
Melt ¼ cup butter in a large pot over medium-low heat.
Add 5 cups mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
Remove from heat, stir in 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract, and fold in 4 cups crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
Pour the white layer into the prepared pan and let set for 10 minutes.
Melt remaining ¼ cup butter in the same pot, add 5 cups marshmallows and 8-9 drops red food coloring, then mix until smooth.
Stir in 4 cups cereal, spread over the white layer, and let set for 10 minutes.
Melt remaining ¼ cup butter with 5 cups marshmallows and 6 drops blue food coloring, mixing until smooth.
Fold in 4 cups cereal, spread into the pan, and refrigerate for 1 hour to set.
Cut into 12 star shapes and serve.
