Description

A beautifully shaped Vegetarian Pizza Christmas Tree topped with colorful vegetables, melted cheese, and herbs — perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Pizza dough – 1 lb

Pizza sauce – ½ cup

Mozzarella cheese – 1½ cups

Cherry tomatoes – 8 halves

Bell peppers (red, yellow, green) – ½ cup diced

Black olives – ¼ cup sliced

Olive oil – 2 tbsp

Garlic powder – 1 tsp

Italian herbs – 1 tsp

Fresh basil leaves – a few

Star-shaped cheese piece – for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Shape the pizza dough into a clear Christmas tree form with a small star at the top.

3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly, leaving a small border around the edges.

4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the surface.

5. Decorate with cherry tomatoes, diced bell peppers, and olives as ornaments.

6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder and Italian herbs.

7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegan version, use dairy-free mozzarella.

Add green pesto for a deeper “tree” color.

Let kids help decorate the tree with veggies for a festive family activity.
