Description
Fluffy Nutella stuffed pancakes with a perfectly hidden gooey center. An easy, indulgent breakfast treat.
Ingredients
10–14 Tbsp Nutella
1 1/2 cups plain flour
3 tsp baking powder
4 Tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1 cup + 2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
1 tsp butter
Sliced strawberries (optional)
Instructions
1. Freeze Nutella into discs until firm.
2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
3. Whisk wet ingredients into dry just until smooth.
4. Heat pan and lightly butter.
5. Add batter, place frozen Nutella disc, and cover with batter.
6. Cook until golden, flip, and finish cooking.
7. Repeat with remaining batter.
Notes
Freeze Nutella discs thoroughly.
Work quickly to prevent Nutella from melting.
Scrape pan clean if Nutella leaks.
