Description

Low carb Italian ground turkey skillet made with lean turkey, vegetables, and classic seasonings. High protein and one pan.


Ingredients

2 1/2 lb ground turkey (90% lean)

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried basil

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp minced garlic

1/2 yellow onion, diced

2 zucchini, sliced

2 bell peppers, diced

1 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/4 tsp paprika

6 oz tomato paste

1/2 cup water


Instructions

1. Brown ground turkey and season.

2. Remove turkey from skillet.

3. Sauté onion and garlic.

4. Cook zucchini and bell peppers with seasoning.

5. Return turkey to skillet.

6. Stir in tomato paste and water.

7. Simmer and serve.

Notes

Great for meal prep.

Serve with rice or low carb sides.
