Description
Easy Honey Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs made with honey, soy sauce, garlic, and simple pantry ingredients. A tender crockpot dinner.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp grated ginger optional
1 tbsp rice or apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
1 tbsp cornstarch optional
2 tbsp water optional
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Season chicken.
2. Whisk sauce ingredients.
3. Place chicken in slow cooker.
4. Pour sauce over chicken.
5. Cook LOW 4-5 hours or HIGH 2-3 hours.
6. Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch slurry.
7. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce.
Do not overcook.
Broil briefly for caramelized finish if desired.
