Description
Juicy honey garlic chicken breast cooked in a rich, sticky sauce with garlic, soy, and honey. A quick and easy skillet dinner perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
500g / 1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup flour
3 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
Instructions
1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create thin cutlets.
2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
3. Coat chicken lightly in flour and shake off excess.
4. Heat butter in a skillet over high heat.
5. Cook chicken for 2–3 minutes until golden.
6. Flip and cook for 1 minute more.
7. Add garlic and remaining butter to the pan.
8. Stir briefly, then add vinegar, soy sauce, and honey.
9. Simmer for 1 minute until sauce thickens.
10. Coat chicken in sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Do not skip the flour coating for best texture.
Use fresh garlic for optimal flavor.
Avoid overcooking to keep chicken juicy.
Add a splash of water if sauce thickens too much.
