Description
Crispy gluten-free puff pastry pinwheels filled with a creamy blend of spinach and feta cheese a perfect vegetarian party appetizer or platter idea.
Ingredients
1 gluten-free puff pastry sheet (10×12 inches)
3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 egg, beaten (for glaze)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add garlic, and cook until fragrant.
3. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Cool slightly and squeeze out excess moisture.
4. In a bowl, mix spinach, feta, cream cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth.
5. Roll out puff pastry, spread filling evenly, and leave a small border around the edges.
6. Roll tightly into a log, chill for 10–15 minutes, then slice into ½-inch rounds.
7. Place on a baking sheet, brush tops with beaten egg.
8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and crisp.
9. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Perfect for vegetarian platters, parties, or catering menus.
Unbaked rolls can be frozen and baked directly from frozen with a few extra minutes.
