Description

A festive and easy holiday appetizer featuring creamy brie, tart cranberry sauce, and buttery puff pastry shaped into a golden wreath.

Ingredients

2 puff pastry sheets, thawed

8 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes

½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

23 fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish)

2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry and cut a large 10-inch circle.

3. Place a 4-inch bowl in the center and cut 8–10 triangles from the inner circle to the outer edge.

4. Spread cranberry sauce around the ring and top evenly with brie cubes.

5. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.

6. Fold each inner triangle over the filling and tuck under the outer edge to form a wreath.

7. Brush with beaten egg and bake 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

8. Cool slightly, transfer to platter, garnish with rosemary, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with extra cranberry sauce for dipping. Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.

You can assemble ahead, refrigerate, and bake just before serving.

Perfect for Christmas appetizers or holiday gatherings.
