Description
Soft, chewy, and loaded with cocoa, these ultimate double chocolate chip cookies are rich, fudgy, and made without a mixer.
Ingredients
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup melted butter
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet.
2. Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
3. Combine melted butter and sugars.
4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth.
5. Stir in dry ingredients and fold in chocolate chips.
6. Scoop dough and place on tray.
7. Bake 8–10 minutes, cool before serving.
Notes
Use Dutch cocoa for richer flavor.
Don’t overbake for a soft center.
Freeze extra dough balls for later baking.
