Description
Creamy Parmesan One Pot Chicken and Rice made with tender chicken, white rice, chicken broth, and rich parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
1.5 pounds chicken breasts, cubed
4 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup long grain white rice
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Cook onion until softened.
3. Add chicken, seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook until golden.
4. Add garlic and cook briefly.
5. Stir in chicken broth and rice.
6. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer.
7. Cook until rice is tender.
8. Stir in cream and parmesan.
9. Serve warm with parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
Add extra broth when reheating if needed.
