Ingredients
2 chicken breasts sliced into cutlets
1 egg whisked with milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil for frying
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 to 3 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon anchovy paste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic grated
Salt and pepper to taste
4 hoagie rolls
3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
Instructions
1. Slice chicken breasts into thin cutlets.
2. Whisk egg with milk and seasoning.
3. Combine breadcrumbs and panko.
4. Dip chicken into egg then breadcrumbs.
5. Fry chicken until golden and crispy.
6. Mix garlic butter ingredients.
7. Spread garlic butter on bread and toast.
8. Whisk Caesar dressing ingredients.
9. Toss lettuce with dressing.
10. Layer chicken lettuce and Parmesan in toasted bread.
Notes
Use panko for extra crispy chicken.
Serve sandwiches immediately.
Store leftover chicken separately.
