Description
Blueberry Monkey Bread made with fluffy yeast dough, cinnamon sugar coating, juicy blueberries, and optional sweet glaze. Perfect for brunch or dessert.
Ingredients
1/2 cup warm milk
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups fresh blueberries
Optional glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
1. Activate yeast in warm milk.
2. Mix in butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, salt.
3. Add flour and knead dough.
4. Let rise until doubled.
5. Cut dough into pieces.
6. Dip in butter and cinnamon sugar.
7. Layer with blueberries in bundt pan.
8. Rise 30 minutes.
9. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350°F.
10. Cool, glaze, and serve.
Notes
Use fresh blueberries if possible.
Cover with foil if browning too fast.
Serve warm for best texture.
