Description
Soft and chewy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies made with oats butter and chocolate chips for a classic homemade treat.
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups oats
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Beat butter and sugars.
3. Add eggs and vanilla.
4. Mix dry ingredients.
5. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
6. Add chocolate chips.
7. Chill dough 30 minutes.
8. Scoop onto baking sheet.
9. Bake 10 minutes.
10. Cool and serve.
Notes
Chill dough for best texture.
Do not overbake.
Store in airtight container.
