Description
Soft, chewy banana oatmeal bars made with ripe bananas, rolled oats, honey, and almond butter a clean-eating, energizing snack or breakfast-on-the-go.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups rolled oats
3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup optional add-ins (dark chocolate chips, nuts, seeds)
Instructions
1. Mash bananas and mix with honey, almond butter, cinnamon, and vanilla.
2. Stir in oats, baking powder, and salt.
3. Fold in any optional add-ins.
4. Spread batter into an 8×8 parchment-lined dish.
5. Bake at 350°F for 22–25 minutes.
6. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
Add protein powder for extra energy.
Bars freeze well for long-term snack prep.
